DesFluence is an online depository of Yihyun Lim’s design, research and project work, with a focus on making technology humane through value-driven design. Yihyun is a design researcher, architect, and an educator based in Boston and Los Angeles. Graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she has previously led MIT Design Lab, a multidisciplinary research group at MIT and has taught numerous courses on design innovation and interaction design. Currently she is at University of Southern California, Iovine and Young Academy, as Assistant Professor of Practice in Interaction Design.
She has recently founded D.Fluence, a design research practice focusing on designing and envisioning future experiences through understanding of people, society, and culture.
